Set amidst the clash of cultures in middle America, this film tells the story of Vic, a young Native American man who returns home from Detroit to the South Dakota reservation where he grew up, bringing with him his white wife and their five-year-old son. Their relationship comes unraveled as the hardship of life on the reservation takes its toll and the acceptance they seek eludes them.
